基督教社会联盟DH战略计划, “一起远行”,” positions the university as a socially just, 公平的, 兼容并蓄的模范城市大学, and serves as a blueprint for the institution going forward. Creating the plan was a collaborative process, 融入学生的声音, 工作人员, 教师, 社区成员, 校友, 当地企业, 以及教育机构. The plan is rooted in 基督教社会联盟DH’s historical commitment to social justice and equity. This commitment is 支持ed by five strategic themes, shown below.
We have chosen "一起远行" as the theme for 基督教社会联盟DH’s strategic plan because we recognize that the Toro Family and the communities of which it is a part can only truly thrive when we all live, work and learn in 公平的 and culturally engaging and sustaining environments. We must create an environment that affirms the dignity, 价值, and belonging of all of our 社区成员. 因此, "going far" in terms of creating and sustaining a socially and 教育ly just environment requires that we learn and work collaboratively, 集体, 并有意实现这一愿景.
This strategic plan is anchored by 这些柱子 of Learn Together and Thrive Together. The Learn Together pillar represents our collective effort to be a learning organization. We will create multidisciplinary learning communities where students, 教师, 工作人员, and 管理员 work together to understand complex challenges and cultivate innovative, equity-centered解决方案.
The Thrive Together Pillar signifies our commitment to go beyond just a focus on graduating students or getting a degree: we want to create an affirming campus environment where every student, 教师, 工作人员, and administrator is 支持ed to meet their personal and 专业 goals and empowered to serve as change agents for a more just and 公平的 world.
